I have ordered custom designs from Becky in the past and have been very satisfied with the quality of the work so had no hesitation using her shop again. We ordered custom t-shirts to wear at a girls’ weekend P!nk concert in Vegas. I am leaving a 5 star review because the quality of the work was amazing, we LOVED the shirts, and got a lot of compliments on them at the show. (We were happy to give a shout out to Becky’s Boutique when we were asked were we got them).
Unfortunately, there were some hiccoughs with the design process that required several revisions to get the design close to my original request. The back and forth slowed the process to the point that I was worried we may not receive the shirts before we left on vacation. Ultimately I ended up paying overnight shipping fee of $40 and did receive them in time.
As I mentioned, the quality of the work was 5 stars, the process this time—not so much. Maybe it was because I was working with one of the associates and not Becky herself like I did last time, but there was so much back and forth to get close to the design that I originally requested and there was an insinuation that the delays were caused by “changes” when those changes were not be requests. They were simply requests to make the shirts match the original design idea I had submitted.
I will still order from this shop, but will definitely give as much notice as I can when creating a custom design to allow room for editing as needed. I will also try to be as clear as possible on the design I want up front—maybe submitting a sketched drawing or something.
